Question 1: Why do you host this site?

Answer: We believe that the Native Americans / First Nations People are descendents of Jacob (Israel) recorded in the Old Testament of the Bible. In particular they are descendents of Joseph, the son of Jacob.  We also believe that God, the Great Spirit, has given the Americas to Joseph and his descendents and although foreigners have overtaken much of it, it will be returned to Native Americans / First Nations People in the near future. And because of these beliefs, we want to share God's message with all people. Thus this site!

Question 2: Who is Joseph?

Answer:  Joseph was the son of Jacob, who was the son of Isaac, who was the son of Abraham (the friend of God) as detailed in the Old Testament of the Bible.  [See Genesis 21:1-3; then Genesis 25:19-28; and then Genesis 30:22-24.]  This Joseph received many dreams from God (Genesis 37) and proved himself to be a man of morals and integrity, no matter his circumstances (Genesis 39:5-12, then 21-23).  Although sold off as a slave by his brothers (Genesis 37:28-36), he eventually became prime minister (Genesis 41:37-45) to the Pharoah of Egypt and then saved his father and brothers from a terrible famine.  Joseph had two sons, and Jacob's prophecy about them came to past in ancient America. More is recorded in the Book of Mormon about Joseph and the future of his descendants.

Question 3: Have not other books claimed that Native Americans are related to Israel?

Answer: Yes, from the earliest days of the Europeans in America, the concept of how Native Americans were related to Israel existed. Many books were written in the 17th and 18th centuries.  The difference with the Book of Mormon -- and it is a big difference -- is that the Book of Mormon is a record of some of Israel in America, and how they were brought here by the hand of God.  The Book of Mormon contains their history, as well as their relationship with God, including the visit of Jesus Christ after his resurrection (fulfilling his own prophecy).  No other book, author, historian, theologian, or anthropologist can make the same claim.  Finally, the Book of Mormon foretells the great things in store for Native Americans in the years to come.

Question 4.  Why is Jesus Christ important to Native Americans?

Answer:  There are two good reasons why Jesus Christ is important to Native Americans.  Let's start with the most important reason.  Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, is God's answer to the needs of all people.  All people need to be reconciled to the God.  That reconcilement had a price.  That price was paid by Jesus Christ.  He offered himself as the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of all mankind.  And more importantly, he was resurrected by God to show that he had not only conquered sin, but death.  This resurrection gives us hope, not just in this life, but in the life to come, eternally with God. The second reason why he is important to Native Americans is that he is their brother!  Since Native Americans are descendants of Joseph, the son of Jacob (Israel), Jesus came first to Israel (whether Jew or Josephite) and then the rest of the world.
